In October 2014, we began Theatre at Coffee Creek, a theater arts program at Coffee Creek Correctional Facility in Wilsonville, Oregon, co-directed by theatrical performers and producers Carla Grant and Don Kern. Coffee Creek accommodates all female inmates in Oregon. The group of 15 – 20 women meet weekly for 3 hours with the goal to have regular performances throughout the year.
For Inmate Consumption OnlySaturday, April 29, 2017.
This performance was Theatre at Coffee Creek’s first performance open to friends and family members. Previous productions were attended by Coffee Creek inmates only. It is a big deal to have a performance open to the outside.
Twelve Angry WomenOn May 31, 2016 members of Theatre at Coffee Creek performed the play Twelve Angry Women. It was attended by a full house of inmates who eagerly enjoyed the performance.

Performance at Coffee CreekSeptember 2015, the residents of Coffee Creek will perform their latest devised piece, The Release. It will be a fun-filled, potent evening of stories, songs, and skits intertwining personal narrative and flights of fancy. While we hope to be able to invite the public to these shows, this particular event is only available to the women of Coffee Creek.
